Myrka Guzman, MA
I hold undergraduate degrees in Addictions Counseling and Criminal Justice/Criminology, and I earned my master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lewis & Clark College. I enjoy working with clients of all levels and approach counseling with compassion, respect, and the belief that every person has the ability to grow and change.
In my practice, I aim to foster a safe and supportive environment where clients can reflect on their experiences, reconnect with their values, and rebuild a sense of purpose in their lives. My therapeutic approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and trauma-focused methods. Through these approaches, I support clients in developing healthier coping skills, improving relationships, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
