I received my Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver in 2009. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Oregon. As a therapist, I've dedicated myself to helping clients recover from trauma, guiding them through shame, anxiety, depression, and addiction. I strive to provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment for discussing difficult experiences and helping clients find the deep sources of suffering. I hold certifications as a Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider and an Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist. My focus is on using EMDR therapy and integrative therapy to create a safe space for people to heal from trauma and connect with their natural state. By helping the body to let go of the weight of the trauma and by living more mindfully, we help rebalance our nervous system and allow for a healthier relationship with ourselves to flow out of that experience. Recognizing the inseparability of mind and body in healing, I offer suggestions on how to incorporate integrative practices, such as nutritional therapy, herbal therapy, and movement to help create your healing journey and guide you towards experiencing more love and joy in your life.
Treatment modalities offered: Mindfulness Interventions, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy & Integrative Therapy

I believe that everyone is capable of growing and changing. We were all designed to live whole, healthy lives, however, life circumstances may have created barriers and challenges for us in achieving that. It is my belief that each person has the capacity to make informed choices and to respond in ways that will better the life of oneself and one’s environment (family, friends, work, community, etc.), if given the tools to do so. I strive to create a safe and accepting, therapeutic environment in which the client feels heard, valued, and understood. My role as a therapist is to facilitate growth, healing, insight, and the exploration of choices, reflective of the client’s responsibility and the wisdom that each individual possess.

I received my master's degree in Applied Psychological Science from Pacific University in August 2021. I completed my internship with Effective Foundations and have become a Certified Sexual Offense Therapist Intern. I am also working towards my Licensed Professional Counselor’s certification. Each person I work with is treated as an individual with a unique past who deserves mental health treatment. Understanding my client's values and beliefs can help create a personalized approach to therapy, creating longer lasting change. I offer my clients understanding and compassion regardless of behaviors or thoughts that may be considered problematic. I believe each person I work with has the capability to achieve their goals and find meaning and purpose in their life. Navigating life may look different for many clients, but I can help those find a new sense of normal.
